Criminal justice

Criminal justice is an extensively used system in the UK to deal with the anti social behavior of the criminals. This is a highly essential tool to deal with the increase in the anti social behavior of the criminals. It provides an edge to those who are incorporating any of the criminal activity. Criminal justice is playing an essential role in dealing with the increasing percentage of crimes every day. (Pierce et al., 2017). The criminal justice system is highly practiced in the UK, and it serves as one of the significant reasons to deal with increased crime rates. Criminal justice maintains a balance between the punishment and the protection of the criminal who is found to be guilty. This system supervises every perspective of the criminal to provide him with protection. Criminal justice in the UK does have many aspects by which it provides support to the criminals. The leading cause of criminal justice is to implement the model into the UK premises. (Tonry, 2011) . This process model deals with the reduction of the crime rate by applying different strategies. According to the statistical analysis of the UK, sexual crimes, domestic violence, and drug addiction crime rate are rapidly increasing. About 50,000 of the sexual offense cases are reported on the premises of the UK while if look upon the robbery cases. UK officers have reported about 80.000, which composes of a considerable percentage. However, after implementing the criminal justice system into the legal premises, about 7% crime rate is declining in the premises of the UK. Criminal law act 2003 plays an essential role in providing the criminals with justice and maintain a balance between the punishment and protection of the criminals. (Pierce et al., 2017).

Relevant theories and concepts of criminal justice

Many relevant theories are present to make up with the efficiency of criminal justice practices. The government of the UK, in regards to drugs, introduces many of the arguments. These relevant theories provide different dimensions to make up with the criminal justice system. The UK implements these theories in the criminal justice system to deal with different categories of victims. Following are the main theories:

Conflict theory:

Conflict theory is about the limitation of the resources and inequality between the power of different groups within a society. Conflict theory talks about the disparity between the social structures among different groups. Karl Marx was the one who proposed this theory.  Conflict theory is highly interlinked with the practices of criminal justice. Power is a significant factor here. (Tonry, 2011) . That is the reason for creating social inequality. Like in the UK, the ones who are wealthier have a more excellent ratio of power than those who are composed of the lower class. This power imbalance is the reason for creating instability in practicing the law. Strength is also linked to the membership, which means that increased power leads to a high degree of consensus. (Jaaskelainen, 2017) . This theory claims that the elite class has the power that works for the reduction of criminal law implications. This power not only deals with criminal justice, but it also incorporates the implementation of the criminal justice system. Austin Turk plays an essential role here that integrates the practice of legal implications and the criminal justice system. He makes an argument that the behavior of society shapes the implementation of the criminal justice system. Also, he makes up a point that criminalization is shaped by different expressions of the community so as criminal justice. The economic power inequality leads to the unjust system of providing the elite class with different financial implications. The conflict theory talks about racial and economic injustice while giving the edge to those who are the upper part of society. Conflict theory is all about inequality and the structural barriers that come in the way of practicing the legal implications of criminal justice. (Pierce et al., 2017)

Governing theory:

Governing theory is also interlinked with the social equality and criminal justice system. This governing theory is interconnected with many of the prosecution and judicial system. Different criminal codes and the implementation of the legal system have to face inequality as per the argument made by the governing theory. Governing theory is all about the theoretical framework that uses a different set of non linear approaches to provide the criminals with criminal justice. This implements all the legal practices into the system that will be keeping a balance between punishment and statutory relief. It is all about the democratic and non democratic practices and the responsibility of the democratic to provide the criminal with criminal justice. This governing theory also implies the legal acts on those performing crimes.

Cultural theory:

Cultural theory is about the cultural practices and conflicts that occur due to different cultural differences. Cultural theory is associated with varying perspectives on crimes and criminal justice. These cultural differences are playing an essential role in dealing with the justification of applying different legal crimes. Cultural theory in the UK provides a different set of crime control that occurs due to cultural practices. (Jaaskelainen, 2017) . Cultural theory implements a reciprocal system into the judicial system to give the criminals with criminal justice. It also encounters different social constructs, crime, and other than this, the social control. It keeps a balance between punishment and relief to criminal justice.

Cultural theory associates with criminology in many ways but within the context of culture and the judicial system. (Tonry, 2011) . Also, it provides different connections of constructions to give criminals justice. The cultural theory proceeds with the implementation of different perspectives that composed of the cultural conflicts, methodologies, and diverse set of political analysis. This theory plays an essential role in controlling the crime rate and providing criminals with justice. Sociological criminology plays an indispensable role in cultural theory. Also, it comprehends different set of applications to deal with the crime control and to practice the legal set of regulations and legal practices. UK criminology department implements this cultural theory into the system to have efficient lawful authority by dealing with the criminals. Cultural conflicts are present in almost every nation. Hence, to make up with the culturally different set of regulations is implemented on the premises of the UK to meet the judicial practices well into the legal system of the UK. (Jaaskelainen, 2017)

Drug as a criminal behavior

The UK is facing many of the drug related behaviors that are leading to an increase in illegal drug activities. The government is providing criminal justice practices to reduce the consumption of illicit drugs. The most widely used medications in the UK include cannabis, alcohol, and this increase in drug addiction is leading to the rise of crime in the UK. The drug controlling departments are working on the misuse of the control of drugs. The illegal trade of drugs is causing an increase in drug trafficking. This leads to a rise in the crime rate. Europe has introduced many of the polices by the European Union to control drug addiction due to drug policies. It is found out that almost 88% of the crime rate is increasing due to the misuse of drugs. UK drug harm index is playing an essential role in controlling the speed of crimes that are rising due to the increased consumption of illegal drugs. Illicit drugs are also one of the primary contributing reasons to deal with the increased crime rate. The systemic violence and domestic violence are growing due to these drugs. The sexual crime rate is also growing due to the increased consumption of drugs. The UK categorized the use of illegal drugs in three ways. These include economic compulsive, psychopharmacological drugs, and systemic violence. Drug related crimes are polishing the behavior of society. (Pierce et al., 2017)

Different criminal justice strategies are implemented in the UK to deal with the increased ratio of drug related crimes. Many of the criminal justice strategies are implemented into the UK premises to deal with the increased crime rate. National prison drug strategy is present in the UK that implements different procedures to deal with the increased rate of drug related crimes. This department applies three different types of policy, and this comprehensive approach implements different strategies into the prison that work to reduce drug use by the criminals. (Tonry, 2011) . This department system deals with the criminal justice system, and it reduces the level of crimes. (Jaaskelainen, 2017).

The addictive drug penalties are implemented into the system by another department in the UK, and this department reduces drug penalties and different legal practices to reduce the rate of crimes. The deaths that this drug trafficking department includes the trafficking cannabis, cocaine, and hero. This trafficking leads to an increase in the crime rate at a more substantial extent. Different legal practitioners are introduced in this department to modify the behavior of the drug addicts. Another act was introduced in the UK that works to reduce the impact of psychoactive drugs. This act reduces the prevalence of various drugs that are increasing illegal activities. Other than this different drug, courts are introduced in the UK to mitigate drug related issues. Global overview series is another department that also plays an essential role in dealing with the increased crime rate due to the trafficking of illegal drugs. Also, for improving civilization and modifying the behavior of drug addicts, many alternative ways are found out to deal with the increase of drug addiction crimes. The UK makes improvements to the legal system to improve civilization that is decreasing due to the rise in illegal drug activities. (Jaaskelainen, 2017) . These rehabilitation centers are finding out different measures, and these measures are using different alternative ways to deal with the increased percentage of drug related crimes. These alternative measures do not include prison punishments, but rather than this criminal justice, the system is implemented into the system. Many analysis and evaluation strategies are applied to deal with the increased percentage of drug addicts. The criminal justice system implements different procedures that maintain a balance between illegal activities. Many of the rehabilitation centers outline the practices of the criminal justice system to support them and to keep a balance between punishment and relief—these departments [play an essential role in decrees the level of drug addiction related crimes in the UK. According to research in 2017, it is found out those innovations in legal offenses play essential roles in dealing with the reduction of crimes that are increasing drug related attacks in the UK. These departments are growing civilization in the UK. (Tonry, 2011).

Criminal justice provides the criminals with an edge, and it reduces the severity of the sentence. A significant decline is seen in the violence, sexual, and domestic violence acts. (Pierce et al., 2017) . Also, the percentage of robbery is declined due to the implementation of these legal acts. The government of the UK has implemented many of the legal actions to deal with the increased rate of crimes. Besides, many of the crime related challenges are addressed by the implementation of different theories and approaches into the system. The UK has introduced various rehabilitation centers to find out the solution in the form of criminal justice. (Tonry, 2011)
